Calcium is an essential mineral required as a structural component of bone and teeth. It is also required for cardiovascular, nervous system and muscle function.
The form in which calcium is present in bone is called hydroxyapatite and also contains phosphorus, magnesium and other trace minerals. Bone is a living dynamic tissue composed of cellular components, proteins, mucopolysaccharides and other materials as well as minerals.
It is important to note that the material used in OSATATE® is different from bone meal, which is simply the inorganic mineral residue of bone that has been processed at very high temperatures.
This hot processing destroys virtually all organic materials. OSATATE® is prepared under cold processing which offers an excellent delivery system for this mineral.
IP6
IP-6, inositol hexaphosphate, is a vitamin-like substance. Some people use IP-6 to treat and prevent cancer, including prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, and blood cancers.
Together with our findings on the anti‐inflammatory function of IP6 (e.g., upregulation of Il‐10, Arg‐1, and Egr2), we concluded that IP6 promotes the resolution of exacerbated inflammatory responses in LPS‐stimulated BMDM.

Contraindications :
High dosages of vitamin C (>1000 mg.) should not be taken by gout patients or by kidney stone formers. Vitamin C is contraindicated in iron overload disease.
Coenzyme Q10 (Anabolic)
Research has demonstrated that CoQ10 levels are depleted with aging. At least 100 mg per day is estimated to replete CoQ10 levels. CoQ10 is involved in numerous vital metabolic activities including ATP synthesis, free radical reduction, blood sugar regulation, and skeletal muscle gene expression.

In 1957 Dr. Crane discovered a quinone in mitochondia, which was later to be called ubiquinone (CoQ10). This paper is a review of the basic biochemical functions of CoQ10, such as in energy production and antioxidant metabolism. Aging is associated with a reduction of CoQ10 levels. Normal blood level is about 1 mcg/mL and supplementation with 100 mg/day will elevate to about 2 mcg.mL or more. We normally make CoQ10 and derive very little from diet.
A study involving CoQ10 supplementation patients with Parkinson’s disease. The supplemented group had a slower progression of disease versus the placebo group.
Compared to placebo, CoQ10 supplementation has been shown to be effective in reducing the frequency of migraine headaches. The outcome of this survey suggests that cyclic vomiting syndrome, which is related to migraine headache and mitochondrial dysfunction, can be reduced with CoQ10 supplementation.
